Outreach, witness and community: an event with Woodbrooke and Quaker Life1–3 July, Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, Birmingham
A creative and collaborative opportunity to explore and develop Quaker approaches to outreach. We will look at examples of outreach and witnessing in different settings and contexts and reflect on
how this might look in your own situation and at ways of engaging with different groups in our communities. The course will be led by Mark Russ (Woodbrooke), Alistair Fuller (Quaker Life) and Maurice Nagginton (Manchester Area Meeting).

‘Who is my neighbour?’ In the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus tells us to demonstrate practical
love to our neighbours, even when they are strangers. As Christian Aid Week (15-21 May 2016)
approaches, I’d like to ask your Meeting to join others from the Society of Friends and other
churches across Britain and Ireland to live out this call.
